LumiDolls company opened its first sex doll brothel in Barcelona in 2017 and this year opened its first male doll shop in Nagoya, Japan, the Daily Star reports online.
Sergi Prieto, co-founder of the company, told the press that more and more men want to try male dolls.
"We've had several clients lately who wanted to book both male and female dolls," Prieto told the Daily Star Online.
But consumers and manufacturers share a common complaint: the weight.
In a report on The Sun's male sex doll, Charlotte Rose wrote that her male sex dolls weigh around 150 pounds.
"The only viable sex position you can take is cowgirl," Ross wrote. “My favorite position is puppy. I think you could try, but you'd have to tie his arms behind his back so he doesn't fall forward and crush you."
Brent Lawson, owner of sex doll maker 1 AM Dolls, told The Post that since the company first offered male sex dolls four years ago, sales have increased from about 5 percent to 15 percent - with most customers being gay and male come from the lesbian scene. and transgender communities.
Much of this boom, he says, is due to the cultural destigmatization of sex toys and the openness of the LGBT community, as dolls are still pretty impractical for straight women.
"People don't think 70 kg is a lot, but that's the weight," he says. "There are definitely strong women out there, but I don't think they're happy doing most of their work with something that heavy."
The company sells male models with fully flexible penises and attachments that can be used to transform female dolls into transgender dolls.
“The problem we have in the female market is that male sex dolls cannot be pushed. The women have to do all the work,” he says. “I don't want to go into too much detail, but the only option is to drive sideways.
“We always try to innovate, reduce weight and use robotics.
